Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

9 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.

I understand there are ever-changing seasons in life. But in the Pfeifer house, winter is called Basketball season. I am serious, when you are a coach, your wife is helping coach one of your daughter’s teams, and all 5 of your kids play….it is a season.

One thing that I have observed over the years as a coach is our youth becoming more and more entitled and selfish. Of course, when you listen to what the world tells you, I could see where the kids would become confused. Which, is exactly what the enemy loves…Confusion.

But, we have to continue to stress the importance of teamwork, and being committed to the betterment of all, not just yourself. Teamwork isn’t only correlated to sports, it also involves your family, your work, your Church, your study groups, and many things we are involved in everyday in our communities.

Continue to work together, play your role well, be an encouragement to people around you! That’s how Jesus would do it!

with love, dlp
